Al Sahm Interior Design is a salon interior design and fit-out company in Dubai. We design and build ladies salons, beauty salons, gents salons, barbershops, nail bars and spas, from empty shell to opening day, with one team handling 3D design, approval drawings, joinery and site work.

A good salon design is about more than looks. Clients judge a salon by its lighting, mirrors and comfort, and your staff need a layout that keeps the day moving. Our salon interior designers plan every station, wash area, waiting zone and reception counter around how your salon actually works, then show it to you in realistic 3D before any work starts.
Ladies salons need privacy, soft flattering light and space for hair, nails and makeup. Gents salons and barbershops need durable finishes and a strong look that customers remember. We design each type differently, using finishes that are easy to clean and stand up to daily use.
Every salon works differently, so we start with how your team and clients move through the space. We plan the reception and waiting area, styling stations, wash stations, nail and makeup corners, treatment rooms, storage and staff area so that nothing gets in the way on a busy day.
Lighting can make or break a salon. Clients need to see true colours when they look in the mirror, and staff need clear, shadow-free light to work accurately. We combine soft general lighting with focused task lighting at each station, backlit or front-lit mirrors, and warm feature lighting for a relaxing mood.
We choose LED fittings with good colour accuracy so hair colour, nail polish and makeup look the same in the salon as they do outside. Lighting is shown in the 3D design, so you can approve the look before work starts.
Wash areas need careful planning. We coordinate water supply, hot water, drainage slopes and waterproofing before the floor and walls are finished, so the salon runs smoothly for years without leaks or bad smells. Wet areas get water-resistant finishes that are easy to clean.
Salons face water, hair dye, chemicals and heavy daily use. We select durable, easy-to-clean materials for floors, counters and joinery, such as porcelain or marble-look tiles, quality laminates and solid-surface tops, so your salon keeps looking new.
Most salons need approved drawings before work can start. Our team prepares the layout, ceiling, electrical, plumbing and fire-safety drawings, submits them to Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and, where needed, the mall or free-zone authority, and follows up until the permit is issued.
If your salon is already open, we can refresh it in stages to reduce downtime. A renovation can include new styling stations, mirrors, lighting, flooring, wall finishes and a new reception area, while keeping parts that are still in good condition.
Every salon is different, so we give an itemised quotation after a free site visit. The main factors are:

Budget planning: see our fit-out cost guide for Dubai to see what affects salon, café and shop fit-out costs.
Most salon fit-outs take 4 to 8 weeks after approvals, depending on size, plumbing for wash stations and custom joinery.
